Pav Bhaji Recipe 

Prep Time: 20 Min

– Oil – 1 tbsp – Butter – 1 tbsp – Cumin Seed/Jeera – 1 tsp – Asafoetida/Hing  – Chopped Onion – 2 – Medium-size Tomatoes – 4 – Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp – Take a Beetroot – 1/2 – Ginger Garlic and Hari mirch paste – Tomato paste – Salt – Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp – Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp – Pav bhaji  Masala – 2 tbsp – Coriander Powder -1 tbsp

– Chopped Carrot – Chopped Capsicum – Chopped Cauliflower – Green pea – Chopped bean – Potatoes – 2 – Water – 2 cup – Lemon juice – 1 tbsp – Coriander Leave – Oil – 1 tsp – Butter – 1 tbsp – Split Green chilli – 2 – Coriander Leave – Oil  – Butter – 1 tbsp – Pav bhaji masala – 1/2 tsp – Coriander Leaves/Hara Dhania  – Prepared Bhaji

To make the perfect street-style Pav Bhaji, place a cooker on the flame, add one tablespoon of oil and one tablespoon of butter, and heat well. 

Step: 1

Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, and finely chopped onions to a pan. Roast until golden on medium to high flame. 

Step: 2

In a grinding jar, combine roughly chopped onion, Kashmiri red chili powder, and chopped beetroot. Make a coarse paste. 

After the onion turns pink, add ginger-garlic-green chili paste, cook well, and make a fine paste. 

Step: 3

After roasting well, add the prepared paste and salt per taste and cook on medium heat. 

After 2 minutes, add 2 tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder and 1/4 tsp turmeric powder. Mix, cover, and cook. 

Step: 4

After roasting, add two tablespoons of Pav Bhaji Masala and 1 tsp of coriander powder, and mix well. 

After 30–40 seconds, add carrot, capsicum, cauliflower, green peas, french beans, and potatoes. Mix and cook for 5 minutes.

Step: 5

After 5 minutes, add 2 cups of water, mix well, close the lid, and cook until six whistles on a high flame. 

After six whistles, turn off the flame and let the pressure release completely. 

Step: 6

Next step: turn on the flame and mash the bhaji with the help of a masher. 

Next step: place a tempering pan on flame, add one teaspoon of butter, and melt well. 

Step: 6

Next step: add two split green chilies and chopped coriander and mix well. 

Next step: add the prepared tempering and one tablespoon of lemon juice to the bhaji, mix well, and cook for 2 minutes. 

Step: 7

After 2 minutes, turn off the flame, and your perfect bhaji is ready. 

Next step: place a Tawa on flame, add a little oil and butter, and heat well. 

Step: 8

Next step: add a little pav bhaji masala, chopped coriander, and one tablespoon of prepared bhaji and mix well. 

Next step: add chopped coriander, place the pav, and roast well on both sides.

Step: 9

After roasting well, serve the pav with bhaji, chopped onion, lemon, split green chili, butter, and chopped coriander.
