– Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp – Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp – Coriander Powder – 1 tsp – Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp – Salt as per Taste  – Carom Seed – 1/2 tsp – Semolina – 3 tbsp – Oil – 1 tbsp – Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp – Wheat flour – 3/2 cup – Oil

Step 1

To make the perfect Masala Chana Dal Puri, take 1/2 cup of chana dal and soak it in water.

Next step – remove the excess water and add the soaked Chana dal into a grinding jar. Next step – add 1 inch of ginger, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 tsp of fennel seeds, two dry red chillies, 5-6 peppercorns, 6-7 garlic cloves.

Next step – add 2-3 tbsp of water, make a fine paste and transfer the paste into a wide plate. Next step – add 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, and salt as per taste.

Next step – add 1/2 tsp of Ajwain, 3 tbsp of semolina, 1 tbsp of oil, 1 tsp of Kasoori methi, and mix everything well. Next step – add chopped coriander, mix well, and let it rest for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, add 3/2 cup of wheat flour(as required, knead well and prepare a medium hard dough. Next step – apply the oil to the dough and let it rest for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, check the dough, prepare small balls with the dough, and apply the oil. Next step – one by one roll the all poori and cover them with a cloth.

Next step – place a pan on flame, add oil for frying and heat well. After the oil is medium hot, add prepared poori and fry well until golden & crispy.

After the poori turns golden & crispy, transfer the poori to a plate and fry the next poori. Now your perfect Masala Chana Dal Poori is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
