To make the perfect coconut malai barfi, place a pan on the flame, add 1 litre of milk and 2.5 cups of sugar, and boil on medium heat.
After the sugar melts, add 400 grammes of fresh coconut, stir continuously, and cook.
After the mix turns thick, add 4 tbsp of milk cream (alternatively, use ghee or Amul cream), mix well, and cook.
Next step: take a plate and grease it with ghee.
Next step: transfer the barfi mix onto the greased plate and spread it well.
Next step: let it set for 1 hour. After 1 hour, check the barfi and cut it into diamond shapes.
You can garnish the barfi with chopped pistachios, rose petals, or chopped dry fruits. Now your perfect coconut malai barfi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
