To make the perfect Suji Gulab Jamun, place a wide pan on flame, add 3 cups of sugar, 3 cups of water, 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder, and saffron strands, and melt the sugar on medium flame.
After the sugar melts, cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes. Next step – check the sugar syrup; If it feels sticky like oil, this means sugar syrup is perfect for Gulab jamun and turn off the flame.
Next step – take a big bowl, add 1 cup of semolina, 4 tbsp of milk powder, 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour, and mix everything well. Next step – take a grinding jar, add flour mix, 2 tbsp of ghee, and grind once.
Next step – add 2.5 cups of milk & prepared mixture into a pan and mix everything well. Next step – place the pan on low flame, stir continuously, and cook well.
Next step – add two pinches of lemon yellow food color and mix well. After the mixture leaves the pan, turn off the flame and transfer the mix into a plate.
Next step – knead the mixture well with the help of a spatula until it becomes smooth. Next step – grease your hands with ghee and one by one prepare the small Gulab Jamun.
Next step – place a pan on flame, add oil(Take so much of oil that Gulab Jamun immersed in it) and heat well. Next step – add prepared Gulab Jamun into the oil and fry well.
After the Gulab Jamun turns golden dark, transfer the Gulab Jamun into medium Hot sugar syrup and fry the next batch.
