To make the tastiest and perfect Steamed Suji Ka Halwa, place a pan on flame, add 1 cup of semolina, and roast for a minute.
After a minute, turn off the flame, transfer the semolina to a bowl, and let it cool. Next step – take a grinding jar, add roasted semolina, 1/2 cup of sugar, and make a fine powder.
Next step – add 1/4 cup of coconut, 1 cup of milk, saffron milk, and 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and blend everything well. Next step – transfer the Halwa mix into a bowl and let it rest for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, check the batter, add 4 tsp of water, and mix well. Next step – transfer the prepared mix into a greased plate.
Next step – place a pan on flame, add water, and boil well. After the water starts boiling, place a stand in the pan and place the mix plate on the stand.
Next step – close the lid and stem the halwa for 10 minutes on medium flame. After 10 minutes, check the halwa by inserting a fork and taking out the plate on a platform.
After the halwa turns cool, de-mold the halwa. Next step – cut the halwa into pieces and garnish it with chopped pistachio.
