Shakarpara Recipe

Prep Time: 15 Min

– Semolina/Chiroti – 1 bowl – Salt – 1 pinch – Wheat flour – 1/4 bowl – Sugar powder – 1/4 bowl – Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp – Clarified Butter – 1/3 bowl – Milk – 1/2 bowl – Oil

Step 1

To make the perfect Sooji Shakarpara, take a big plate, and add 1 bowl of fine semolina/Sooji.

Next step – add a pinch of salt, 1/4 bowl of wheat flour, 1/4 bowl of sugar powder, and 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and mix everything well. Next step – add 1/3 bowl of melted cup ghee in batches and mix well.

Next step – little by little add 1/2 bowl of milk and prepare a soft dough. Next step – cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, check the dough and knead well again. Next step – take small portion of dough and roll it to medium thickness.

Next step – cut the Shakarpara into small pieces with the help of a Gujiya cutter or a knife. Next step – place a pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well on medium flame.

After the oil is medium hot, add prepared Shakarpara into the oil and fry well until golden & crispy.

After the Shakarpara turns golden & crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch. 1Now your perfect Suji Shakarpara is completely ready, and you can enjoy your Suji Shakarpara.
