RICE MODAK RECIPE 

Prep Time: 15 Min

– Cashew nut – 1 tbsp – Almonds – 1 tbsp – Pistachio – 1 tbsp – Desiccated coconut – 2 tbsp – Black Raisins – 1 tbsp – Cardamom Powder  – Saffron Strands  – Ghee – 1 tsp – Jaggery – 2 tbsp – Rice – 1 cup – Fresh Nariyal – 1 cup – jaggery – 1 cup – Water – 4 cup – Cardamom Powder  – Clarified Butter- 2 tsp – Pistachio – Saffron Strands

Step 1

To make the most tasty and perfect rice modak, take a grinding jar and add 1 tbsp of cashew, 1 tbsp of almonds, 1 tbsp of pistachio, 2 tbsp of desiccated coconut, 1 tbsp of black raisins, cardamom powder, and saffron strands.

Next step: add 1 tbsp of ghee and 2 tbsp of jaggery, and grind everything well. Next step: transfer the stuffing into a bowl and prepare small balls with the stuffing.

Next step: take 1 cup of rice and soak it for two hours. Next step: add the soaked rice to a grinding jar with 1 tbsp of crushed coconut, 1 cup of jaggery, and 1 cup of water. Grind well and make a fine paste.

Next step: take a pan, add the prepared paste, 3 cups of water, and cardamom powder, and mix well. Next step: place the pan on a low flame, stir continuously, and cook.

After the mix turns thick, add 1 tsp of ghee, mix well, and cook. After the mix absorbs the ghee, add 1 tbsp of ghee again and cook.

When the mixture starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame and transfer the mix to a greased plate. Next step: take a Modak mould, grease it with ghee, and place the chopped pistachios like in the following image.

Next step: fill the Modak mixture into the mould and keep the small space in the mould. Next step: add the Modak stuffing and seal the Modak.

Next step: open the Modak mould and take out the Modak onto a plate. Next step: garnish the Modak with saffron water, pistachios, and saffron strands.

Step 9

To make the Modak without a Modak mould, take a small portion of dough and spread it. Next step: place a stuffing ball, close it from all sides, and give it a Modak shap

Next step: give the impression on Modak with the help of a fork or toothpick. Now your perfect rice Modak  are completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
