Malai Ladoo  Recipe

Prep Time: 15 Min

– Milk – 2 ltr (2000 ml)  – Vinegar – 2 tbsp  – Water – 1/2 cup  – Sugar – 6 tbsp/100 gram

Step 1

Step - 1 Place a heavy-based pan on flame, and add 2 tbsp of water. Next step – add 1 liter of full-fat milk and boil the milk on medium to high flame until the milk quantity reduces to 1/4 of its original quantity.

Next step – Place another pan on flame, add 1 liter of milk, and boil.

Next step – take a bowl, add 2 tbsp of white vinegar (alternatively use citric acid), 1/2 cup of water, and mix well.

After the milk starts boiling, turn off the flame and let it cool for 2 minutes.  After 2 minutes, add vinegar mix in batches and mix well until the milk curdles.

After the milk curdles, drain the water with the help of a cloth and rinse the curdled milk with water.  Next step – squeeze the cheese and remove the water completely.

Next step – mash the cheese with the help of a fork.

Nest Step - After the milk quantity reduces to 1/4 of its original quantity, add 6 tbsp of sugar and mix well.

After the sugar melts, add mashed cheese into milk and mix well.  Next step – cook the Ladoo mix until the mixture turns smooth and thick.

After the mix turns smooth & thick, turn off the flame and transfer the mixture to a plate.  Next step – spread the Ladoo mix and let it rest for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, prepare a small Ladoo with the mixture.  Now, your perfect Market style Malai Ladoo is completely ready,
