To make the perfect Jeera Aloo, take six cooled boiled potatoes, and peel them. Next step – cut the potatoes into medium size pieces.
Next step – place a pan on flame, add 1.5 tsp of mustard oil, and heat well. After the oil is hot, switch off the flame and let the temperature of the oil go down.
Next step – turn on the flame, add 2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/t tsp of asafoetida, 1/2 tsp of black salt, 1 tsp of crushed coriander seeds, and mix well. Next step – add potato pieces and salt per taste and mix well.
After 3 minutes, add 2 tsp of coarse ginger, 2 tsp of coarse green chilli and mix well. Next step – add 1 tsp of coriander powder, red chilli flakes, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of pepper powder, 1/4 tsp of garam masala, 1 tsp of dry mango powder and mix well.
After 2 minutes, add 1 tsp of kasuri methi, chopped coriander and turn off the flame. 10 – Now your perfect Jeera Aloo is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
