To make the perfect instant Poha Chakli, place a pan on flame, add 1 cup of Poha and 1/2 cup of roasted chana dal, and roast for 1–1.5 minutes on low flame.
After 1–1.5 minutes, turn off the flame and let the poha and chana dal cool down. Next step: add chana dal and poha to a grinding jar, grind well, and make a fine powder.
Next step: take a big plate, add 1.5 cups of rice flour and prepared poha powder (strain the powder before adding), and mix everything well.
Next step: add 4 tbsp of sesame seeds, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, and mix everything well.
Next step: add 4 tbsp of hot ghee and mix everything well. Next step: little by little, add hot water and prepare a semi-soft dough.
Next step: take a chakli maker, grease it with oil, and fill it with the chakli dough. Next step: one by one, make the round chakli on a greased plate.
Next step: place a pan on the flame and heat until the oil is medium hot. After the oil turns medium hot, add the prepared chakli and fry until golden and crispy.
After the chakli turns golden and crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch. Now your perfect Instant Poha Chakli is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
