Sabudana or Tapioca pearls is versatile ingredient & recipes which is much used & mostly consumed during Navratri.This is the most important ingredient in many of the festival & is used during fasting & vrat in india. This is very instant recipes & easy to make.It gives relief to our hunger. Different Varieties of recipes of sabudana can be made like sabudana khichdi , Vada , bonda.You must try this delicious recipes.

व्रत के ये खास लड्डू खाएंगे तो 9 दिन रहेंगे फूर्ति से भरपूर – Laddu for Navratri – Sabudana Laddu

Tapioca/Sago – 1 cup
Ghee – 1/4 cup (3 tbsp)
Desiccated coconut – 3 tbsp
Chopped almonds – 1 tbsp
Chopped Cashewnuts – 1 tbsp
Sugar powder – 6-7 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp

  • To make Sabudana laddu take a mixer jar.
  • Add sabudana into a mixer jar and make fine powder.
  • Take a seive and seive to get fine powder.
  • Take a kadhai and let it heat.
  • Add ghee and melt.
  • Add sabudana powder and mix well.
  • Roast until ghee releases.
  • After 4-5 mins ghee starts relasing.
  • Add Desiccated coconut,Chopped almonds,Raisins,Chopped Cashewnuts and roast it.
  • Turn off flame and transfer mix.
  • While it is hot add sugar powder,Cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Do not let it cool completely.
  • Prepare ladoo while it is warm.
  • Add warm milk if required to set consistency.
  • Take the mix and prepare laddu.
  • Garnish with dry fruits (optional).
  • Sabudana Laddu is ready to serve..Enjoy!!!
