A very sweet tasty & healthy recipe for Janmashtmi.It comes in a variety of sweet dishes . This amazing Mix Dry fruit Paag is specially prepared on Janmashtmi . This rich combination of sugar ghee and healthy dry fruits makes it favorite among all.  Its very healthy & tasty as it includes so many dry fruits.

कृष्णा को भा जाने वाली सबसे स्पेशल बर्फी बनाने का एकदम सही तरीका टिप्स के साथ Mewa Paag – Mewa Pag

Ghee – 1/2 cup
Edible gum/Gond – 2 tbsp
Almond – 4 tbsp
Cashewnut – 4 tbsp
Lotus seeds – 1 cup
Melon seeds – 1/2 cup
Dry grated coconut – 1 cup
sugar – 2 cup
Water – 1 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp(optional)
Crushed pista – for garnishing

To make Mewa Paag heat a kadhai on medium flame.
Add ghee & let it heat.
Reduce the flame to low.
Roast edible gum/gond on low flame until gond puffs up and turns crystal.
Roast all nuts(almond,cashewnut,lotus seeds) one by one on low flame until it turn crunchy and golden brown & take out.
Roast melon seeds on medium flame roast until they turn crisp and golden.
Add dry grated coconut & raisins & fry on low flame for 1 minute.
Turn off the flame & take out.
Take a kadhai/pan & add sugar & water & prepare one string consistency sugar syrup.
Let the sugar melt on medium flame.
Crush dry fruits with crusher one by one & mix together.
Check the consistency of sugar syrup.
Add cardamom powder & mix well.
Turn off the flame.
Add the prepared mixture little by little & mix well
Turn on the flame & mix on low flame for 1 minute.
Turn off the flame.
Take a steel plate & grease with oil/ghee.
Transfer the prepared mix.
Spread with spatula evenly.
Garnish with crushed pista.
Turn on the flame & demould by rotating the plate on low flame.
Cut into desired shape.
Mewa paag is ready to serve.Enjoy!
