This recipe is combination of fresh green peas & different types of dry spices.It can be made in different ways .Other delicious recipes are Rava Besan Nashta ,  Dhokla, & many more snacks .All these recipes are very instant & easy to make.It can be served as breakfast or as tea time snacks.

सर्दी की सुबह हरी मटर से बना कम तेल का चटपटा मस्त नाश्ता जिसे देखतेही बनाने भागोगे Matar Suji Nashta

Bread – 4-5 pcs
Boiled fresh green peas -1 cup
Finely chopped capsicum -2 tbsp
Finely chopped onion – 2 tbsp
Finely chopped chilli – 1
Semolina/Sooji – 1/2 cup
Curd/Butter milk – 1/3 cup
Red chilli flakes – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Water as required
Baking Soda – 1/4 tsp
Finely chopped Coriander
Oil as required for frying
Til/Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp

  • To make matar Crispies take a grinding jar.
  • Add bread into grinding jar and make a fine powder and transfer into a bowl.
  • Add Boiled fresh green peas and Make a coarse paste.
  • Add into bread powder.
  • Add Finely chopped capsicum,Finely chopped onion,Finely chopped chilli,Semolina,Curd/Butter milk,Chaat masala,Garam masala,Salt,Ginger garlic paste.
  • Add water as per required and prepare thick batter.
  • Close lid and Let it set for 5 mins.
  • Check after 5 mins,add water & adjust consistency.
  • Add Baking Soda and mix gently.
  • Add Finely chopped Coriander and mix well.
  • Place a tawa/pan add oil and heat it.
  • Add Sesame seeds,Mustard seeds.
  • On low flame add 1 laddle full batter and cook until golden.
  • Flip and cook on the other side until golden crisp.
  • Take out after golden.
  • Matar Crispies are ready to serve.Enjoy!!
