Masala pav is a yummy and spicy mumbai street food. The pav or bread rolls are sliced and then stuffed with a spiced buttery onion, tomatoes and capsicum filling. Masala pav are our favorite street food snacks which is made of Pav spiced with Pav bhaji masala

सर्दी में तवे से गर्मागर्म निकलता हुआ चटपटा नाश्ता खा लिया तो बर्गर पिज़्ज़ा सब भूल जाओगे Masala Pav

INGREDIENTS

Butter – 1 tbsp
Finely Chopped Onion – 2
Finely Chopped Capsicum – 3 tbsp
Finely Chopped Green chilli – 2
Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Finely Chopped Tomato – 2
Salt – 1 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Pav Bhaji masala – 2 tsp
Water – 2 tbsp
Lemon Juice – 1/2 tsp
Finely chopped Coriander
Pav bread

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Take a tawa heat it.
  • Add butter and spread.
  • Add Finely Chopped Onion ans Saute until golden.
  • After golden add Finely Chopped Capsicum and cook until soft.
  • After soft add Finely Chopped Green chilli,Ginger Garlic paste and saute for 1 min.
  • Add Finely Chopped Tomato,Salt,Chilli Powder,Pav Bhaji masala and mix well.
  • Add water and mix well.
  • Take a masher and Mash well.
  • Add lemon juice,Finely chopped Coriander and mix well.
  • Keep the mix aside in the tawa.
  • Take Pav bread and cut in between but do not cut til the end.
  • Add Butter on tawa & Roast Pav Bread.
  • Add Butter on top & Roast on both sides.
  • Add prepared Mix in between pav bread on both sides.
  • Add Finely chopped Onion,Finely choppped Coriander and close pav.
  • Add remaining masala on the top of pav.
  • Garnish with coriander.
  • Mumbai Masala Pav is ready to serve.Enjoy!!
