INGREDIENTS
Leftover Rice – 2 cups(200gms)
Water – 2 tbsp
Rice Flour – 200 gms
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Asafoetida – 2 pinch
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves
Slit Green Chillies – 3
Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Flakes
Finely Chopped Coriander

  • Take left over rice.
  • Add into mixer jar.
  • Make a fine paste.
  • Transfer into a bowl.
  • Add Rice Flour in batches,salt and mix well to prepare semi hard dough.
  • Grease hands and pinch lemon size mix and prepare crack free balls.
  • Take a kadhai add 2 & 1/2 cup water.
  • Add rice pops into water.
  • Boil on high flame until thy float.
  • Close lid and let it cook for 3 mins.
  • Check after 4 mins.
  • Turn off flame if they are floating and remove them and transfer onto a plate.
  • Let it cool completely.
  • Take a pan.
  • Add oil and heat.
  • Add Asafoetida,Mustard Seeds,Curry Leaves,Slit Green Chillies and saute on low flame.
  • On low flame add rice pops and toss well.
  • Turn off flame add lime juice and toss well.
  • Add Red Chilli Flakes,Finely Chopped Coriander and serve.
  • Place fried curry leaf and chilli,insert tooth pick & serve.
  • Rice pops are ready to serve…Enjoyy!!!
