Lauki Ka Halwa

बिना मावा हलवाँई की ट्रिक से लच्छेदार लौकी का हलवाँ जिसे तुरंत बनाएंगे Lauki ka Halwa – Dudhi Halwa

Bottle gourd/lauki – 1 kg
Ghee – 1/4 cup(3 tbsp)
Chopped almonds – 8
Cashew nuts – 12
Raisins – 1 tbsp
Full fat milk – 650 ml
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Milk powder – 1/2 cup (5 tbsp)
Green food colour – 1 pinch

  • To make lauki halwa take 2 lauki wash and remove peel.
  • Grate bottle gourd leaving the seed part. use only pulp.
  • In a pan add ghee and let it melt.
  • Add Chopped almonds,Cashew nuts, and fry.
  • Fry until Golden and keep aside.
  • Add Raisins,fry and keep aside.
  • Add grated bottle gourd pulp into ghee.
  • Stir and cook on low-medium flame for 5-6 mins.
  • After 6 mins add milk and boil(Take boiled room temparature milk, do not take hot milk).
  • Close lid and cook for 10 mins.
  • After 10 mins add Sugar,Cardamom powder,Milk powder and mix well.
  • After 10 mins add green food colour mix well and cook for 5 mins.
  • After 5 mins Add dry fruits and mix well.
  • Add 1 tbsp spoon for making it glossy.
  • Transfer into bowl.
  • Lachdar lauki halwa is ready to serve..Enjoy!!!
