Crispy Masala Vada

अभी बाजार में न खाना कम समान से बजार जैसा क्रिस्पी मसाला वड़ा इंस्टेंट चटनी साथ ऐसे बनना Masala Vada

INGREDIENTS

Channa Dal/Split Pea – 1 cup
Dry Red Chillies – 2
Cinnamon Stick – 1 inch
Ginger – 1 inch
Green chillies – 2
Garlic – 6-7 cloves
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – 10-12
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Finely Chopped Onion – 1
Finely Chopped Coriander
Salt as per taste
Rice Flour – 1 tbsp (optional)
Warm Cooking Oil – 1 tsp
Cooking Oil for Deep Fry

For Chutney
Oil – 1 tbsp
Roughly Chopped Tomato – 2
Dry Red Chillies – 2
Salt as per taste
Channa Dal – 2 tbsp
Tamarind Pulp – 1 tbsp

For Chutney Tadka
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 2 pinch
Curry Leaves

  • To make masala vada
  • Wash and soak for 3-4 hours/Over night.
  • Take a jar.
  • Add Dry Red Chillies,Cinnamon Stick,Ginger,Green chillies,Garlic,Cumin Seeds,Fennel Seeds,Curry Leaves,Asafoetida and grind coarse.
  • Separate 2 tbsp Soaked Chana Dal and keep aside.
  • Add Remaining Soaked Dal into jar.
  • Blend coarse without adding water.
  • Transfer into a bowl.
  • Add Finely Chopped Onion,Add soaked Channa Dal,Finely Chopped Coriander,Salt,Rice Flour(optional),Warm Cooking Oil.
  • Mix all ingredients very gently.
  • Take Ball size mix and make a ball.
  • Flatten it into a tikki shape.
  • Shape up on edges (optional).
  • Prepare all vada in same way.
  • Take a kadahi add oil for fryin and heat.
  • Add prepared vada into medium hot oil.
  • Flip and fry on all sides until golden.
  • Take out when golden crisp.
  • Transfer onto a plate.
  • Lets Prepare chutney.
  • Take a kadahi,
  • Add Oil and heat.
  • Add Roughly Chopped Onion and saute well.
  • When translucent add Dry Red chillies and fry on medium flame.
  • When golden add Tomatoes,Salt,Channa Dal and Mix well and cook until soft.
  • When it is soft.
  • Add Tamarind Pulp and mix well.
  • Turn off flame and let it cool completely.
  • Add into a grinding jar and make fine paste.
  • Transfer into a bowl.
  • Lets prepare Tadka for Chutney.
  • Add oil in a tadka pan and heat.
  • Add Mustard Seeds,Asafoetida,Curry Leaves.
  • Turn off flame and pour tadka on Chutney.
  • Can store in fridge for 5-6 days.

Masala Vada is ready to serve…Enjoy!!
