This recipe is combination of fresh green peas & different types of dry spices.It can be made in different ways .Other delicious recipes are Matar crispies ,  Dhokla, & many more snacks .All these recipes are very instant & easy to make.It can be served as breakfast or as tea time snacks.It can be served with chutney

सस्ती हरी मटर का एकदम नया चटपटा नाश्ता कम तेल में जिसे पहले से तैयार करे 5मिनट में बनाये Matar Tikka

INGREDIENTS
Green Peas – 1 cup
Chopped Green chilli – 2
Garlic – 5 pods
Chopped Ginger – 1 inch
Besan/Gram flour – 3/4 cup
Semolina/Sooji – 1/4 cup
Water – 2.5 cup
Finely chopped capsicum – 2 tbsp
Finely chopped onion – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Chaat Masala – 1 tsp
Finely Chopped Coriander
Oil – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
Oil for shallow fry

  • INSTRUCTIONS
  • To make Crispy Matar Tikka.
  • Boil green peas until 50% cooked.
  • Take a mixer jar add green peas,Green chilli,Garlic,Ginger,Make a coarse paste on pulse.
  • Take a bowl.
  • Add Besan/Gram flour,Semolina/Sooji.
  • Add Water and make lump free batter and prepare buttermilk consistency batter.
  • Add Finely chopped capsicum,Finely chopped onion,Add prepared matar paste,Salt,Red Chilli Powder,Coriander Powder,Turmeric Powder,Cumin seeds,Chaat Masala,Finely Chopped Coriander and mix well.
  • Take a kadhai add oil and heat.
  • Add Asafoetida and add prepared batter,Stir continously and cook.
  • Cook on medium flame until thick,After thick cook on low flame until leaves pan.
  • Add Lemon Juice and mix well and cook.
  • Take a plate/tray and grease with oil.
  • Turn off flame when it leaves pan and thick.
  • Transfer mix into greased plate.
  • Spread according to thickness.
  • Let it set for 10 mins.
  • After 10 mins cut into desire shape.
  • Bake it at 180 degree pre heated oven for 20 – 25 mins.Store in air tight container for 4-5 days.
  • In kadhai add oil for shallow fry and heat.
  • Place prepared tikka and On low medium flame roast well.
  • Flip and fry on all sides until golden crisp.
  • Transfer onto a plate/Tissue.
  • Crispy Matar Tikka is ready to serve.Enjoy!!
