Cauliflower paratha is unleavened whole wheat flatbread stuffed with a spiced grated cauliflower filling. gobi paratha is another popular paratha from punjab.Its Punjabi dish along with Aloo paratha, Paneer Paratha & Cabbage paratha Gobi paratha is often made for breakfast in punjabi homes as well as served in restaurants and punjabi dhabas.

ठंडी में हाथ तापते हुए खाइये ये भरे भरे क्रिस्पी गोबी के पराठे जो बिना सब्जी चट कर जाये Gobi Paratha

INGREDIENTS
Wheat Flour – 2 cups
Salt as per taste
Oil – 2 tsp
Cauliflower – 350 gms
Grated Ginger – 1 tsp
Finely Chopped Green chilli – 1
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Aamchur Powder – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 2 pinch
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Finely chopped coriander
Salt as per taste
Ghee

  • To make Gobi paratha take a bowl,add wheat flour,salt and mix well.
  • Add water little by little,prepare soft dough.
  • Add oil and mix well.
  • Add little oil and coat the dough.
  • Cover with a wet cloth and keep aside to set it for 15 mins.
  • Lets prepare filling.
  • Take Cauliflower,Cut into pieces,wash and drain water.
  • Take grater and Grate gobi.
  • Take a bowl,place a cloth and add grated gobi and Squeeze excess water.
  • Transfer into bowl.
  • Add Grated ginger,Finely Chopped Green chilli,Cumin Seeds,Ajwain,Red Chilli Powder,Coriander Powder,Aamchur Powder,Asafoetida,Garam Masala,Finely chopped coriander.
  • Mix all ingredients.
  • Check dough and knead again.
  • Add salt and mix well before preparing paratha
  • Heat tawa on medium flame
  • Pinch big ball size dough
  • Dust with atta.
  • Spread and prepare a bowl shape.
  • Fill with gobi mix in center.
  • Press gobi mix and close with dough on all sides
  • Dust with atta.
  • Spread with hands.
  • Take a rolling pin,Gently prepare paratha.
  • Heat tawa on medium flame.
  • Put Prepared paratha and cook.
  • Cook for 1 mins until bubbles appear.
  • Flip after 1 & 1/2 min and cook.
  • Add ghee or oil and cook on the other side for 1 min.
  • Press and cook on medium flame on all sides.
  • Gobi Paratha is ready to serve.Enjoy!!!
  • Tips:
  • Knead very soft dough.
  • Add salt in mix while preparing paratha.
  • Add 2 tbsp roasted besan or wheat flour in case the mix is watery.
