तीखी और चटपटी टमाटर की धमाकेदार चटनी एकबार खाओगे तो बारबार बनाओगे Tomato Chutney | Tomato ki Chutney

kashmiri Dry Red chilly – 15 pcs
Roughly chopped ginger – 1 tbsp
Peeled garlic – 1/2 cup (3 whole)
Strained water – 2 tbsp
Roughly chopped tomato – 10 pcs
Oil – 5 tbsp
Panchforan – (Cumin seeds,mustard seeds,fennel seeds,nigella seeds,fenugreek seeds,nigella seeds)
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Vinegar – 1 tsp

  • To make Chatpati Tamatar Chutney take dry red chilly & soak into hot water for 1 hour.
  • Take a strainer & strain the water.
  • Take a grinding jar & add soaked dry red chilly,roughly chopped ginger,peeled garlic,strained water.
  • Add more water if required & grind into paste.
  • Take out into bowl.
  • Cut the tomatoes into big pieces & grind into paste.
  • Heat kadhai & add oil into it.
  • Heat it on low to medium flame.
  • Once it is hot , add Panchforan(Cumin seeds,mustard seeds,fennel seeds,fenugreek seeds,nigella seeds), asafoetida.
  • Add prepared chilly paste & Mix well.
  • Fry on low to medium flame till paste releases oil.
  • Stir continuously & fry.
  • Add prepared tomato paste & cook until releases oil.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Cover with lid & cook for 5-6 minutes.
  • Turn off the flame & let it cool.
  • Add vinegar & mix well.
  • Chatpati Tamatar chutney is ready to serve.Enjoy!!
