इस गर्मी खाये स्वाद से भरे बॉम्बे आइस हलवा स्वाद ऐसा की खाते रह जाओगे – Bombay Ice Halwa Recipe

INGREDIENTS
Milk – 2 cups
Semolina – 1/4 cup
Ghee – 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp
Sugar – 1 cup
Saffron – 1 pinch
Kesar colour – 1 pinch
Cardamom powder
Chopped pistachio
Chopped Almonds

  • Take a heavy based kadhai add milk,semolina,ghee,sugar.
  • Keep it on the flame.
  • Cook only on low flame.
  • After 6-7 mins when it starts getting thick add Saffron soaked in milk.
  • Add Kesar color and mix well.Any color/essence can be added.
  • Add remaining ghee in batches add remaining ghee and mix well.
  • To know if its cooked well,Take mix on a plate and try to make ball,If it form ball without sticking to plate then halwa mix is perfectly cooked.
  • Time taken : 20-25 mins.
  • Turn off flame and keep stiring as kadhai is still hot.
  • Take silver foil/butter paper/plastic sheet,and grease it with ghee.
  • Transfer mix on foil/paper/plastic.
  • Roll with a roller pin.Roll thin.
  • Garnish with dry fruits and cardamom powder.
  • Spread butter paper and press to set dry fruits.
  • Set for 4-5 hours or over night.
  • After 4-5 hours.
  • Cut into square pieces.
  • Remove foil.
  • Place on butter paper and serve.
  • Place in fridge and serve cool. Enjoy!!
