Aloo Sooji Poori Kachori with potato & other veggies adds more flavour.
आलू सूजी का ऐसा खस्ता करारा नाश्ता जिसे आप बिना सब्जी सारे खा जायेंगे Aloo Sooji Poori | Aloo Poori
Semolina – 1/2 cup
Hot water – 1 cup
Caraway/Ajwain seeds – 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Finely chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Red chilly flakes – 2 tbsp
Boiled & mashed potato – 2 (medium)
Salt as per taste
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Oil – 1-2 drops for coating
Oil for deep frying
- To make Aloo Sooji Poori take a wide bowl.
- Add semolina & hot water & soak semolina in water.
- Add carom seeds for flavour & cumin seeds.
- Cover & let it rest for 8 mins.
- After 8 mins add finely chopped coriander leaves,red chilly flakes.
- Add salt,wheat flour & mix well.
- Knead well & prepare a soft dough.
- Add water if required.
- Add few drops of oil to prepared dough & coat well.
- Cover & let it rest for 5 mins.
- Heat oil on medium flame.
- Take a medium sized sized ball and flatten it.
- Roll the dough evenly into circles using rolling pin.
- When the oil is sufficiently hot, add one poori.
- Press with the spoon to puff up.
- Keep the flame medium to high.
- Once they puff, turn over and fry the poori till golden brown all over.
- Take out the pooris.
- Aloo Sooji Poori is ready to serve.Enjoy!
