To make the Mix Dal Appe, take a big plate and add 1 cup of Chana Dal, 1/2 cup of Urad Dal, 1/2 cup of Moog Dal, 1 cup of Poha, 2 cups of rice, and one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds.
Next step: transfer all ingredients into a bowl and wash well with water. Next step: add water and soak everything for 4-5 hours or overnight.
After 4-5 hours, add the soaked mixture to a grinding jar and make a coarse, thick paste. Next step: transfer the batter into a big bowl and whisk well for 3–4 minutes.
Next step: cover the batter and let it rest for overnight. After overnight, check the batter and gently mix well.
Next step: add salt per taste, two chopped onions, chopped green chillies-ginger, and chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
Next step: place the Appe on the flame, grease with oil, and heat a little. Next step: fill the prepared batter into the Appe moulds.
Next step: close the lid and cook for 2–3 minutes. After 2–3 minutes, flip the Appe and cook on both sides until golden.
After the Appe turns golden, turn off the flame and transfer it to a plate. The second way to make these Appe, place a small pan on the flame, grease it with oil, and heat it.
Next step: fill the Appe batter, close the lid, and cook for 2–3 minutes. After 2-3 minutes, flip the Appe and cook on both sides until golden.
