कुछ ही मिनटों में मार्किट जैसा सॉफ्ट स्पंजी Dhokla हलवाई की खास ट्रिक से बिना ईनो/दही Dhokla Recipe

INGREDIENTS
Gram flour – 2 cups (225 gms)
Tumeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Water – 2 cups
Salt – 2 tsp
Citric acid – 1 tsp(optional)
Sugar – 4 tbsp
Ginger & green chilli paste – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Baking soda – 1 tsp

For tadka
Oil – 2 tbsp

Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 2 pinch
Slit green chilli – 4
Crurry leaves
Water as per required
Salt – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 pinch

  • To make dhokla take a bowl,place a strainer.
  • Add gram flour and seive.
  • Add Tumeric powder,Asafoetida.
  • Take another bowl add 2 cups of water,Salt,Citric acid(In place of citric acid use 1 tbsp lemon juice/ vinegar),Sugar and mix well.
  • Now take gram flour bowl add Ginger & green chilli paste and mix well.
  • Add prepared water mix little by little and prepare a pourable consistency batter
  • Add Oil ansd mix well.
  • Close lid and set for 10 mins.
  • Add few drops oil and grease the tin.
  • In a kadhai add water and place a stand and Close lid and boil water.
  • Now check batter and add Baking soda(Use 1.5 tsp eno fruit salt in place of baking soda) and Mix in one direction only.
  • Transfer batter into greased tray.
  • Place tray into kadhai,close lid and Steam it for 15 mins,Check after 15-20 mins.
  • After 15 mins turn off flame and let it cool for 5 mins.
  • Check with a knife if it is cooked,If knife is clean it is cooked well,if it is sticky cook for 2 more mins.
  • Separate edges and transfer into a plate.
  • Cut it into square shape
  • Lets prepare tadka.
  • Take a pan add oil,mustard,Asafoetida,Slit green chilli,Crurry leaves and Fry on low flame.
  • Add water,Salt,Sugar,Lemon juice,Turmeric powder and Boil.
  • Pour tadka on dhokla.
  • Rest it for 10 mins to make it spongy and serve.
  • Dhokla is ready to serve. enjoy!!!

Tip : Pour tadka when dokla and water is warm
